Altman F-5 Mandolin



Bob Altman is very rapidly making a name for himself in mandolin building. His Mandolins are among the best sounding built these days. The flagship Altman mandolin is a handmade work of art, carefully crafted from the finest tone woods. The soundboard and back are hand-tuned for maximum power and balance, resulting in a mandolin that is loud, rich, and full from bottom to top.

This Altman Mandolin was special ordered with 1 3/16th’s at the nut and Varnish finish.

It has a Hand-tuned top and back for great balance and tonal quality’s.

Currently he is back ordered and it takes 10 to 12 months to get a mandolin when we order from him. The one in the picture above is in our store and available now. A very nice tweed hard shell case comes with this mandolin.
